Peter Sealey joins Log Savvy Advisory Board

Known for his leadership roles at Coca-Cola and Columbia Pictures, guru Sealey brings his expertise in consumer marketing and media to online community analytics

 

Berkeley, Calif.—July 24, 2007— Log Savvy, the leader in analytics for online communities, social networking, and digital media, today announced the appointment of marketing guru Peter Sealey to their Advisory Board. Sealey’s numerous corporate successes and strategic consulting practice will help to shape Log Savvy’s product and marketing direction. His advisory role will have impact in key areas for the company such as consumer, digital media, branding, and online community trends.

Sealey has long been known as one of the consumer marketing experts, and now specializes in strategic marketing strategy and expert witness testimony. His background includes over 20 years at The Coca-Cola Company where he held a variety of key positions including the role of Chief Marketing Officer in the early 90's (responsible for the now-famous "Always Coca-Cola " advertising campaign) and President of Marketing and Distribution at Columbia Pictures in the late 80's (where his releases include GhostBusters, La Bamba, Karate Kid, Stand By Me, and Tootsie.) He also served as Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the Haas School of Business at the University of California – Berkeley, where he was also Co-Director of the Center for Marketing and Technology from 1996 until 2006. In 2004, Peter joined the faculty of the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University as a Visiting Professor. In the summer of 2007, he will assume the position of Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the Peter F. Drucker Graduate Management School at the Claremont Graduate University where he will teach an MBA course on entertainment marketing.
