Mark Searle, Co-Founder & CEOMark brings to Log Savvy a wealth of experience leading successful high-growth private and public technology companies. Most recently he co-founded and led Addamark Technologies (now called SenSage), a leading security and compliance software company, as President & CEO through its first several years of existence and multiple private financing rounds. Prior to building Addamark, Mark led bamboo.com, a leading online visual content provider, as its COO, developing the company from a raw startup through multiple private financing rounds, its IPO and the subsequent merger that created Internet Pictures Corp. [NASDAQ: IPIX]. Mark had previously served as COO of both Cybergold, a pioneering online payments and incentive marketing company, and Plynetics, an advanced technology rapid prototyping and tooling provider. Mark holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, he completed coursework toward a Ph.D. in English at UC Berkeley and holds an AB cum laude in English and Creative Writing from Princeton. In his younger days he was an avid rugby player and at one time was ranked among the top 25 downhill ski racers in the U.S. Mark Soloway, VP Engineering & Product Development Mark has been successfully developing and delivering software for over 20 years in a variety of senior engineering, management and executive roles. Most recently he led a team of over 50 developers spread across five locations on three continents while at Frontrange. He had previously served at Actuate Corp. [NASDAQ: ACTU] as Chief Server Architect, Director of Server Technology and Principal Engineer from before the first release of the Actuate Report Server through the company's IPO and beyond. Mark was also an engineer and manager at Sun, Fairchild/Schlumberger, Valisys and Dawn Technologies. He has been an active angel investor, executive consultant and advisor to multiple startups, including Addamark Technologies (now called SenSage) where he was early angel investor and advisor. Mark earned his BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with High Honors at UC Berkeley, his MS in Electrical Engineering at Stanford and his MBA through American Intercontinental University while also working full time. Cimarron Taylor, Chief Software Architect Cimarron arrives at Log Savvy with over 25 years of experience in database and application development and research. He was one of the initial team at UC Berkeley that developed the Postgres database. After getting a BA in Applied Mathematics at UC Berkeley, he worked on the i18n DBMS software for Sharebase (subsequently bought by Teradata) before becoming the first engineer at Scopus Technology (later acquired by Siebel) where he deveoped the application framework used by all their products. Shortly afterward Michael Stonebraker recruited Cimarron to develop database visualization tools at Illustra, which was subsequently acquired by Informix. He then spent a brief period as a consultant before co-founding JB Development and creating Harmonia, the first commercial 100% Java SQL Database Engine. After working as an architect at Saratoga Systems, Cyntric, BusinessBots and Profluent, Cimarron was hired as employee #6 at Addamark Technologies (now called SenSage) where he became their Chief SQL Architect. Most recently he was the database architect for Zenprise, an emerging network service-management software provider, and the Server Architect for FilmLoop (an innovative photocasting network). Tony Calleja, Co-Founder & CFO Tony is a seasoned financial executive, general manager and company founder who brings to Log Savvy extensive private and public company experience, including IPO and M&A execution in multiple sectors of the technology industry. He was a co-founder and served as President and as CFO of Vado, Inc., a leading Bay Area specialty technology staffing company. Tony was previously VP Finance & Corporate Controller at bamboo.com where he created and executed policy, handled SEC filings and audits through its private VC financing rounds, its IPO and the subsequent merger that created Internet Pictures Corp. [NASDAQ: IPIX]. Prior to bamboo.com, Tony held multiple finance positions over the course of 15 years at MCI and National Semiconductor. He was an early angel investor and advisor to Addamark Technologies (now called SenSage). Tony holds an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a BS in Accounting from San Jose State University.
